I have loved the magazine for years and decided it would be smarter to subscribe. The first issue came a month earlier than I expected in perfect condition. This was a wonderful buying experience.

Rating: - Vanity Fair
They began my subscription with an old issue which I had already purchased over the counter. The following day I received the current issue. I didn't complain to Amazon, but I think this is a shoddy practice used by magazine companies and Vanity Fair should be above this.

Rating: - Love the Photography
The only reason I like this magazine was because of the photography in it. I find most of the articles boring, or not to my tastes. I do enjoy the photography. There is an occasional interesting article, but I am a photographer, and all that interests me in this magazine are the photos. I like that it is cheap for a year's subscription too.

Rating: - Not quite as informational as the phone book, and less entertaining
I'm not sure how this magazine ever got the reputation for being more than the glossy fanzine it is. There's nothing wrong with celebrity mags, but this one has pretensions of so much more when essentially, it's about as deep as an E! True Hollywood Story about Kato Kaelin. I've tried many times, but alas, this one is sadly not worth the tree destroyed to print it.
