Rating: - Steamy Stuff and How
This is my first Megan Hart book and what a rollercoaster of passion it is. Anne is an incredible woman and I really feel for her, her emotions really do come over. She has a wonderful husband, the best in the world. What more could any woman want, and all this with a beautiful home in a beautiful setting, then along comes Alex, the enigmatic Alex and things go up a couple of gears. Anne's life is influenced by memories of her colourful family which adds even more flavour to the drama.

A great read and I would highly recomend it. My husband bought it for me as a thank you present along with Suzie Van Aartman's wickedly naughty 100 Percent Erotica which is also a really steamy read albeit in a different style. Ah the joys of eroticism, I cant get enough.

Rating: - Informed Reader
This is one of the most disappointing reads I have had in quite a while. The heroine, Anne, is a coward. Her supposed acquiescence to a menage situation reflects on her poorly throughout the novel. She is not fair to her husband, James, or her lover, Alex, who show her how her life could change and do nothing but love her. She spends more time wallowing in her insecurities than dealing with them and moving on with life. The ending and I will not ruin it for those who want to read this, but it is utterly unsatisfying. If you are seeking romantic realism (the Lifetime channel mentality) then by all means buy this book. If you are seeking a true erotic romance fantasy, this is not for you. Sorry, I won't purchase another from this author.

Rating: - Sexy & Interesting!
Tempted offers much more than sex and drama. While the three main characters share their bodies, along the way they share their lives. The premise is simple enough - two men (friends) and one woman (wife to one and stranger to the other) - a beginning of a sexy story. However, every story has a background and these lovers each have theirs which provides tension and drama.

The warf and weft of the novel is the affair, but the tapestry emerges through the emotional interactions of the main and secondary characters. Megan Hart reminds us that no experience stands outside of our life, but rather is woven into the pattern, and this one is rich and varied. A follow-up book with these characters would be welcome.

This was an excellent read. Her book was a large departure from my typical romance reads. To be honest, I rarely divert from my favorite authors, but the cover was so tantalizing - that on impulse I purchased it. I had expected a hot read, but what was delivered was far more complex and compelling. The story was undeniably sexy and pushed the bounds, but the complexities of the dynamic relationships portrayed were just as engaging.

I will certainly be heading back to find her previous books. I am grateful for the impulse to buy this book. The cover did a fantastic job of grabbing my attention.
