I actually buy this brand of agave nectar at my local food coop, but the price on Amazon was too good! However, when my package arrived, one of the bottles had leaked and I had to wash everything and look for the poorly-sealed bottle. Also, given that these are plastic bottles, some additional padding would have probably helped...

I used this in a recipe for zuchinni bread instead of sugar and you could not tell the difference. I have not tried it in other items yet. 1 bottle is equal to 1 cup of sugar, so this is a really expensive alternative.

My husband is diabetic and has been using this product for some time now. It really has made a change in keeping his blood sugar from spiking since this sweetener is low glycemic. Yummy! I haven't used white suger for years. I no longer use Splenda. This stuff is yummy and good for you. I use it in my tea, coffee, oatmeal, and plain unsweetened Kefir. Try it!
