Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Who wrote this book, Casson or Jones?
Compare the this book with "The History Of The Telephone" BY HERBERT N. CASSON Published: 1910

There are entire sentences and in some cases paragraphs that appear in both books. It looks as though Mr. Jones is taking credit for someone else's writing.

It makes me question the rest of the book.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Impressive Reference and Strategic Masterpiece
I enjoyed Mr. Jones' latest book on Telecommunications. The book does a good job at cover everything from the basics to formulating a strategy to effectively compete in the marketplace. Billing, Customer Care, Disaster Recover, Customer Resources Management, Product Management, Account Management, Billing Events. Very Comprehensive. One of the better books on my bookshelf.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the better Telecom Books on the market
I've read them all! From the books that explain the telecom network to the intro books showing how to connect a telecom circuit. Their are literally hundreds of these books out there on this subject. But, I finally ran across a book that explained the business and not just the network. The book started out by doing a good intro into telecom priciples and history. Then it went full boar and explained billing, customer care, disaster recovery, people management and then the network. Everything from A - Z. As a telecom architect I can appreciate the keen insights to the industry expressed in this book. It has helped me a great deal in my job as a telecom professional. Terrific guide.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Business Book
I wish this book had more info on the network. But the business and management information is unsurpassed. Good book in this respect.
