Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Some things simply never change.
Some things simply never change. "The American Boy's Handy Book" is a guide for young boys who still find the time of playing outside highly appealing. Although 126 years old, the ideas are just as applicable today as they were then. The ideas and games presented encourage children to use their own imagination and build their own toys, to create their own fun. In a time of fears of childhood obesity, "The American Boy's Handy Book" may just be what some children need.

Build your own giant bubble machine or a Puss in Boots puppet show (script is included). Avoid the more violent blow guns and fighting kites but enjoy the simplicity and just plain fun of this book. Along the way, your students will have a new appreciation for Mark Twain's world and the boys ... Read More

I looked at this book but ordered another. You included this along with my order. Because or your archaic system (perhaps intentional) although I tried to cancel it immediately, you do not allow cancellations.

Thanks for asking because its impossible to talk to a real person when needed.
