- Pretty good value but be careful...
These are good disks, I usually trust anything made by Sony, but when my boyfriend tried to play them in his car, they did not play. Previously, anything Sony worked in his car so it was a bit odd...so I would not repurchase.

- Good Disc but..........
I purchased these rewritable disc and Sony is a good brand. They do the job but if your CDRW drive is a Toshiba or possibily another famous brand name drive it may not write or format the disc. This happened to one of my labtops that had a Toshiba drive. The message I got was "disc is right protected". I contacted DELL tech support and they recommend I use other brand names for my burning. I guess there was a conflict with rival brand names. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for this issue. I guess some CDRW drives may have a generic name and accepts any brand disc. Just my opinion and thoughts.

As the author of the Jefferson Airplane book "Take Me To A Circus Tent" and a former radio disc-jockey, I am often asked to write and or discuss various recordings from the 60's and 70's. Sometimes as a person that has worked in electronic stores my thoughts are requested on recording equipment and electronics.

Sony CD-RW Media 4x 700MB 80min Spindle (25-Pack)

Sony has been ultra reliable for me as a recording medium for blank CDR's. I have used a substantial amount over the years for both data and pictures. These are not for those that like to use high speed for burning/recording.

The CD's have held up well and there have been very little that were defective right out of the package. While the quality control is a shade below the Fuji from Japan, in no way should Sony be considered a poor second choice.
