- IN TUNE WITH THE INFINITE
I WOULD SAY THIS BOOK IS GOOD, BUT THE WRITER I FEEL, WROTE A BIT LIKE I WAS READING THE BIBLE. ALOT OF RUN ON SENTENCES THAT ARE DEEP, USING "THUS, THOU", ETC. TO MUCH, HOWEVER ACCURATE HE MAY BE. I ENJOY READINGS THAT TRY NOT TO IMPRESS THE READER. EVEN THOUGH, I LIKE HIS BOOK, IT IS A CHALLENGE TO STAY INTERESTED IN IT, WHEN YOU HAVE TO CONSTANTLY THINK OF EACH SENTENCES MEANING. IT BORES ME AFTER AWHILE. IT IS ALOT LIKE OTHER GOOD BOOKS ASSOCIATED WITH THOUGHT AND INTENT OF THOUGHT TO UNIVERSE. GOOD STUFF, JUST COULD BE MORE FUN TO READ.

This is a cut above your usual new age/metaphysical writings. First published in 1897 it's clear that Trine was influenced by the thinking of Drummond and Emerson, especially Emerson whom he refers to as 'the inspired one, the seer.....at Concord'. Nowhere have I read such a clear exposition on the practical means of connecting to and harnessing the Divine current that regulates every aspect of the universe and everything in human life. We are all heirs to a larger life if we would be open to accessing and purposefully operating the forces that lie within. For anyone even slightly interested in experiencing greater and grander portions of creation, I urge you to begin with this book and read it over and over and over and it is certain that a "full, rich life continually expanding in beauty, wisdom and power" will be yours.
