This product is a great way to keep the children up to speed with their learning over the summer. It prevents summer lag. We just work for 30 minutes most days and the kids keep their brains active. The kids also enjoy this so much that they want to work in the book

My oldest son used the Summer Bridges books between kindergarten and 1st grade. Completing only one or two activities a day helped keep him sharp on new skills he had learned in kindergarten and prepared him for the next level. We enjoyed them so much we ordered 1st to 2nd grade for this summer and also for his younger brother pre-K to K. What I like most about the pre-K to K is the simplicity of exercises. Simply exercising dexterity is so important for rooting good writing ability. My son is only 4 and will be completing one more year of preschool before attending kindergarten, but he is already practicing tracing lines and letters. Also...we order all three available books for my oldest son..Math, Reading, and Activities. The pages are bright and interesting. All activities should take 10 minutes or less. A friend told me about this book and it has been great for my soon-to-be- starting Kindergartener. It is a great review of things she already learned at pre-school and she loves the idea that this is helping her get ready for school. The summer has just started and she is 1/2 way through the book.
