A great resource book for any individual facing Child Custody issues.
The book covers every subject one could imagine. I think it is a great idea for a freind or family member who might know of someone going through the process to buy it for them. Child custody issues are very emotional for both parties involved, part of the anxiety comes from not understanding the process. After reading the book you will know what to excpect in each circimstance and how to prepare for that part of the battle.

If you are involved in a child custody dispute, then I feel you would certainly benefit from this resouce.

It is rather expensive and long - over 750 pages. However it covers a huge amount of information. But considering the hourly rate of most divorce/custody attorneys, you will probably save the cost of the book a few times over.

As the author states, the primary audicence for this book is "the parent who is serious about winning and maintaining custody of a child. ... A child custody war rarely involves only the children and the parents."

The child custody war will more than likely be extremely expensive in terms of money and emotional scars.

I read all the reviews and carefully considered the negative comments about the first 11 editions. I ordered Win Your Child Custody War, 12th Edition. I was pleased to see all the problems had been corrected and the subjects expanded. I had exhausted all the good advice available to me and was at the point of giving up. This book made all the difference. It truly ain't over, till it's over. If you are experiencing or expecting a rough ride through the court system, you definitely need this book.

The kind you go to the book store, library, internet, parent support groups, read boxes of court cases, attend legal factfinding seminars and hire the best attorney you can afford, to get. The Table of Contents and Index, list the topics covered in all the other books on child custody. Additional topics which many other parents have faced and may be useful in your case are identified and explained. The suggestions and information in the book are well thought-out and precise.
