Sometimes we feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders. For Alex Rider the pressure might be too much to handle. Stormbreaker written by Anthony Horowitz is a non-stop, thriller book, which leaves you breathless after every chapter.

In the book Stormbeaker Alex is a teenage who lives in London with his uncle and his house keeper. One day the police came to his door to announce the brutal death of his uncle in a cover up car accident. Later, Alex finds out about a secret mission that his uncle was in and meet up face to face with a dangerous contract killer that killed his uncle. Now he wants to all the school students around the world with a computer called "The Stormbreaker" that releases a deadly virus of small pox. Find out what Alex will do next to stop this man in his tracks.

- Alex Rider is a true spy!
Anthony Horowitz's Stormbreaker is an awesome novel, the start of the series about Alex Rider comes up full of suspense and action! From page one you'll be grabbed by a mystery that must be solved. I usually are more of the fantasy-type of books but this one really charmed me.
It has some very exciting scenes and every chapter is tied up with adrenaline-filled cliff hangers. Some parts are hard to go through if you get easily distracted but then the action grabs you again and won't let you go. If you are reluctant about spy novels, read this one and you'll see it's a whole new world full of interesting plots. Can't wait to start reading Point Blank!

The fisrt of the Alex Rider series, and in my opinion the best book. Its the only Alex Rider book that as a back ground story, Alex Uncle is killed and we learn how his housekeeper raises him. Its set in the Cornish tin minesAlex makes a great agent. The book is 10 times better than the film. I will read the whole Anthony Horowitz Alex Rider series now.
