- Stimulte your creative mind and learn to "read" in a new way
Great book to stimulate your creative brain. Gives you an opportunities to "read" in a new way, because this is not like a real book. It's pictures and words combined in such a way that the viewer - not the reader - is inspired to find the message. Each page has one and each page makes clear that a picture is worth a thousand words. Now, how can I communicate better using my unique tools and perspectives.

I appreciate the author for boldly bringing this artform to my attention. Originally, I was seeking a book on how to draw, but Hagy makes it clear that you don't have to be a great drawer -- not that she isn't -- to communicate ideas with simple drawings.

Indexed is a humorous but very helpful way to look at issues and to think about possible implications of the solutions. Worth every penny.

- Unique, Interesting...but Light on Content
Jessica Hagy's book, "Indexed," offers some unique, interesting...and often entertaining...insights into the world at large through the mediums of simple charts. The relationships Hagy points out in this book are insightful and often surprising.

While this book provides interesting and thought-provoking reading, it is light on content. The pages are not numbered and it took me approximately ten minutes to read the entire book.

Despite the book's brevity, it is worth a read. The question that potential purchasers should ask..and answer...is if the book is worth the price. The author offers content through a website (http://indexed.blogspot.com/), but I am not sure of the overlap of the web site's content and the content of the book.

Maybe cute & cool. Jessica Hagy makes fun with her drawings. Lateral thinking, maybe a different perspective, sometimes genial and smart, sometimes not so good. The book maybe will not change your life, but it will you smile for a dozen of times.
