- Contains a piece by Florence King!!!!!
Most of the rest of this collection is time-worn and forgettable. It is a stretch mark to call a lot of this "humour." But before you drink deeply of the nepenthe and hemlock, you finally come across a piece of wit by Florence King, and all's right with the world again. This volume is priceless for that contribution alone. I shall not diminish its value by a sparrow's breath by even quoting it, and instead encourage you to make haste in getting a copy, now that I have mine.
